PAINTING Cityscapes in Watercolor with Paul Oman

You will learn how to create city scenes in watercolor in this step-by-step paint-along 90-minute workshop.

Class size is limited to 30.

All registered participants will receive a video recording of the class.

You will learn to simplify complex city scenes, seeing and painting these scenes as interconnected shapes. Light and shadow will be important aspects we will keep in mind as we paint.

Understanding simplification and values (contrast) will allow you to paint strong, eye-catching cityscapes.

You will be able to ask questions of Paul and interact with other participants at your comfort level.

All ability levels welcome.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Paul Oman is a teacher and painter at heart. A Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, and workshop instructor and teacher for many years, Paul simply loves to paint. Even more so, he loves to see the joy in others as they experience success in their paintings.

Paul is the founder and owner of Drawn to the Word/Paul Oman Fine Art, a business he started in 2011. In this work, he paints the mission of organizations around the world on large-scale canvases in acrylic before live audiences.

He resides in Wisconsin (USA) with his wife, Jana, and family.
