PAINTING Pines and Spruce in Watercolor with Paul Oman

Learn to paint pine and spruce trees as Paul demonstrates in this step-by-step paint-along 90-minute workshop.

All registered participants will receive a video recording of the class.




Paul will guide you, step-by-step, through his approach to painting pine & spruce trees in watercolor. You will learn how to apply the paint, see values/contrast, paint close up & distant, bark texture, illusion of light and shadow, branch configurations, & use various color combinations for different seasons and settings.

You will be able to ask questions of Paul and interact with other participants at your comfort level.

All ability levels welcome.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Paul Oman is a teacher and painter at heart. A Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, and workshop instructor and teacher for many years, Paul simply loves to paint. Even more so, he loves to see the joy in others as they experience success in their paintings.

Paul is the founder and owner of Drawn to the Word/Paul Oman Fine Art, a business he started in 2011. In this work, he paints the mission of organizations around the world on large-scale canvases in acrylic before live audiences.

He resides in Wisconsin (USA) with his wife, Jana, and family.
